JOEY NG

The founder of Yoga Along, and a passionate yoga instructor and practitioner.

While Joey had promising career prospects in PR and Marketing field, she decided to put her devotion fully to yoga and became a full-time teacher instead - because she hopes to help people to find their true selves within through yoga, just like how she helped herself in the same way. 

Joey first discovered yoga in 2018 while yoga was just an off-work ‘keeping-fit’ hobby during stressful times. She found that yoga practice did not only help her to release tension, but also taught her to live in the moment and love herself and life. She has been hooked to yoga since then and decided to take her first yoga teacher training to learn more in the same year. 

Yoga has then become part of her life. She firmly believes that practicing yoga allows one to see how he/she lives his life and emphasizes the union of mind, body and spirit; practicing yoga is also practicing balance, both physically and mentally. In her class, she focuses on helping students to adjust their bodies and find the alignments through asanas to life, improving both their strength and flexibility, as well as mindfulness. 

Her vision is to promote the equilibrium of life through yoga, sharing love and empowering people to inspire and to be inspired. 

Jen Chu

Jen Chu is a certified YTT-200 yoga teacher trained in Rishikesh, with a passion for running and an impressive track record as a local trail race winner. Drawing on her background in running, Jen's teaching style emphasizes alignment and rehabilitation to enhance her students' cardio fitness, flexibility, and mobility.

Jen's classes are designed to challenge and inspire students of all levels, helping them achieve their fitness goals. With her expertise in yoga and running, she brings a unique perspective to her teaching that is both holistic and effective.

Karen Chiang

Karen has been exploring fitness and well-being since 2015 and her passion has been to help others find more compassion and empowerment in their lives off the mat. Through practising strength training, pilates and meditation, she eventually found yoga as an integrated discipline that combined spiritual and physical practices.

After certifying as a NASM personal trainer, Functional Range Conditioning (FRC)® mobility specialist and BarreBody mat pilates instructor, she completed her 200 hours YTT at Suan Sati, Chiang Mai.

KYLIE YAU

Kylie has started her yoga journey since 2016. Taking yoga lessons allowed her to get away from the busy school life and soon she became a passionate yogi. After practicing yoga, she felt more relaxed and had better work-life balance. This made her more determined to become a yoga teacher to share this positive energy.

She believes yoga is all about balance, balance between physical and mental, as well as strength and flexibility. Her classes are powerful and energetic. She mainly focuses on guidance and alignment in her lessons so as to provide a blissful and safe yoga experience to all comers.She hopes that all yoga practitioners can feel peaceful from the hustle and bustle by enjoying yoga.

Larissa Ho

Larissa is a dedicated yoga instructor who is passionate about sharing the numerous health and wellbeing benefits of yoga with others. Her journey into yoga began in 2018 as a way to alleviate stress, but it quickly became much more than that. Yoga has become Larissa's passion and has motivated her to deepen her practice through extensive yoga teacher trainings.

Lily Lam

Being a sports lover and a restless, energetic person, Lily has tried out many different physical exercises and found out Yoga is more than that. Yoga not only helps her to reduce menstrual pain and recover from the tightness of her body, but also helps her to slow down, find stillness and be in present. During the 200-hr yoga teacher training, she is fascinated by how Yoga philosophy coincides with what she learnt in Buddhism and Taoism on realisation and union with the divine, our mother Nature. This inspired her to share the benefits and joy of yoga to others as well as the peace attained during classes and in daily life. She loves balance postures and pranayama. She is also a certified Animal Flow Level 1 Instructor.

Maggie Li

Maggie completed her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2018 in Koh Phangan, Thailand and she is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. Maggie’s classes are always filled with energy, passion and inspiration. She focuses on alignment based vinyasa style, which helps laying down a solid foundation, trains up core muscle and endurance, and adds to the depth of body awareness in poses.

Maggie is also a certified Singing Bowl Therapist and an AromaCarer.

Scarlett Tong

Ever since Scarlett started practicing yoga, she soon realised that yoga is much more than building physical strength and flexibility. Yoga has supported her to find mental calmness and a deeper sense of self-awareness while working in a busy corporate world.

She believes that Yoga is definitely for everyone and she wants to share the benefits of yoga to her students. Her teaching emphasises a lot on fundamental alignment and finding the mind-body awareness during the practice. She hopes to see students leaving the class feeling more grounded and with greater sense of self-appreciation.

Tiffany Wong

In 2016, Tiffany found herself feeling lost and unsatisfied with her life direction while working in the corporate world. Seeking a way to relax and reconnect with herself, she turned to yoga. With all the benefits she experienced from yoga, both physcially and mentally, she began practicing yoga regularly, gradually incorporating it into her daily routine.

Tiffany teaches her students on how to achieve their own mind-body-soul connection through yoga. She believes that the practice of yoga is more than just a physical exercise; it's a way to cultivate inner peace and self -awareness that can be applied to all aspects of life.

Venus Chu

Being part of the fast-moving financial services machine, Venus sought for spiritually balance and her yoga journey has then commenced. The journey has brought her to a more physically and mentally balanced of life and strongly motivated her to share her practice with others.

Venus specializes in teaching Aerial Yoga. Her teaching style is hardcore yet fun! She hopes to inspire students to maintain balanced lifestyles through attending yoga practice.
