Hatha

A traditional general yoga practice that includes most yoga styles. It includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises), with the purpose of aligning and bringing peace to the mind and body. 

The class starts with some basic foundation of postures and gentle movements to warm up your body. Under detailed alignment instructions, the teacher will guide you to do level-up postures to open up different parts of your body, increasing flexibility, strength and stability.

The class is suitable for all-level students, no matter whether you are beginners or practitioners who want to challenge themselves! Classes are taught with modifications to allow easy transition from level 0 to level 1/ level 1 to level 2.

Core & Strength

This specialised class focuses on strengthening the core muscles (both abdominal and back) and arm muscles to improve the internal support and stability of the body. Abdominal postures, arms strengthening workout and some stretching will be incorporated into the class to strengthen the whole body.

This class is suitable for students who want to build body strength and stability and take on challenging asanas and sequences. Classes are taught with modifications to allow easier transition from level 1 to level 2.

Complete Practice (2hrs)

This class is specialised for students who want to have complete yoga practice and improve asanas performances. The 2-hour class includes mediation, pranayama and bandha practice, followed by sun-salutation and more advanced asanas practice including backbends, arm balances, inversions and twisting etc. This intensive non-vinyasa based asana practice requires a higher standard of physical yoga state, focused on connecting the body and mind with the purpose of enhancing awareness and stability.  

The class IS NOT suitable for beginners. Classes are taught with modifications to allow easier transition from level 1 to level 2. This 2-hour class  will deduct 2 credits from the package.

Vinyasa

A dynamic moving type of practice which connects one posture to the next along with the smoothing breath.  Poses are generally held for a shorter period of time and emphasis on the rhythm of breath is encouraged with the purpose of aligning and focusing the mind, as well as increasing postures, body mobility and strength. 

The class is suitable for students who have some yoga experiences and want to have invigorating and dynamic practice.

Detox Flow

A dynamic moving type of practice focusing on stimulating the digestive system with the purpose of aiding the detoxification of the body.  Students will experience flowing linked sequences of poses including twists, bends and stretches that can help massage the digestive organs. The class can help you with boosting circulation, stimulating lymphatic drainage and fluid and weight loss, to make you feel refreshed and reborn. 

The class is suitable for students who have some yoga experiences and are looking for challenging and dynamic experiences.

Ashtanga

A dynamic and classic based movement class which comprises the traditional sequence from Ashtanga Yoga. It combines power and flexibility with movement, breath and bandhas to produce a detoxifying and an energetic practice, training for the mind and body. Primary series will be led in this class. Sequences may be modified.

AerialYoga.jpg

Aerial Yoga

This specialised class combines traditional asanas with the use of hammocks. The hammock works with gravity to build upper body and core strength; it also helps realign your body, centre the mind and uplift the spirit. The class will deepen your practice both in the air and on the ground  while newcomers are able to  learn fundamental postures. 

Students are advised to wear tops with sleeves to protect the skin from rubbing against the fabric of hammocks.

Aerial Decompression

Forget about tricks, flips or fancy flying poses. This specialised class focuses on decompressing the spine and offers you an opportunity to enhance both the mobility and flexibility of spine. Proper alignment and posture can be achieved with this decompression of the joints and spine. Inversions will be included to help with your spine health. Enjoy the class and leave it feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and refreshed! 

The class is suitable for all levels, and especially good for those who want to relieve the back pain. Students are advised to wear tops with sleeves to protect the skin from rubbing against the fabric of hammocks.

Yoga Wheel

This specialised class combines traditional asanas with the use of a yoga wheel. Yoga wheels are designed to help stretch and release tension of muscular tightness in the back, chest, shoulders, abdomen and hip flexors, as well as improving  stability and balance.  

The class will be a yoga wheel flow which is suitable for beginners to more advanced students, creating an amazing heart and back opening experience.

Yin Yang

The class blends two styles of yoga into one practice - Yin, a slow practice where poses are passively held for a long period of time, working on the deep connective tissues and joints in the body; and Yang, a more active practice working on the muscles and blood flow, building strength and flexibility. 

In this class, the first half of the practice will lead you to a more rhythmic and invigorating flow to energize and open up the body (Yang). It will then be followed by the long held deep stretched to cultivate a focused  and meditative mind (Yin). 

The class is suitable for everyone and those who are  looking for a balanced yoga practice.

DeepStretch

Deep Stretch

The active stretch class incorporated a complete sequence of postures, targeting to open the entire body and sooth the mind. Muscles will be required to engage during active stretching, meanwhile clear alignment guidance will be given by the teacher. Modifications will be provided with the help of yoga props and more advanced variations will be introduced.

The class is suitable for all levels.

Candlelight Yin Yoga

A healing practice focused on softening and stretching the connective tissues of the body, increasing overall flexibility. In this class, each pose is held for 3-5 minutes with very little muscle engagement. The quiet, slow and gentle practice cultivates a meditative mind, guiding you to a stress-free body cleanse. 

The class is suitable for everyone, especially designed for those who need to calm and balance the body and mind in the busy lives.

Animal Flow

Animal Flow is a ground-based movement system designed to improve the function and communication of the 'Human Animal’. It bridges the gap between all other physical practices. With a variety of movements that involve quadrupedal position, it improves the connection and self-awareness of the body and mind, our motor abilities and the resilience of our joints, muscles and connective tissues.

This class is suitable for students who would like to improve their body coordination, power and mobility while feeling fun and energized.

Full Body Toning and Fat Burning

Bodyweight exercises with the latest interval techniques for high energy, amazingly effective workout. It will improve your core strength, help you lose weight and tone full body muscles. The whole session is aimed at speeding up your metabolism, which will burn fat and help tone your muscles. It takes an HOUR only for the class and the after-burn effect will last for 24 HOURS.

Hip Opening & Hamstring Stretch

The active stretch class incorporated a complete sequence of postures, targeting to improve hip and hamstring flexibility and mobility. The class will warm your body up and provides enough stretching and strengthening of the hamstrings and gluteal muscles, as well as lengthen your inner leg muscles and front sides of our legs, to support the entire hip joint. Muscles will be required to engage during active stretching, meanwhile clear alignment guidance will be given by the teacher. Modifications will be provided with the help of yoga props and more advanced variations will be introduced.

The class is suitable for everyone and especially for those who sit for severals hour a day and/or want to get rid of hamstring and hip tightness.

Power Yoga

A dynamic moving type of practice which focuses on building body strength and endurance along with smoothing breath. Students will flow from one pose to the next quickly with the emphasis on linking the rhythm of breath to the different motions of the body. The class provides a good physical workout and a wide range of both mental and physical benefits including the improvement of cardiovascular health, body mobility and strength, weight loss, stress reduction and overall health.

The class is suitable for students who have some yoga experiences and want to have invigorating and dynamic practice.

Myofascial Release

This specialised class focuses on relieving pain in your myofascial tissues — the tough membranes that wrap, connect and support your muscles. The self manual therapy technique willl help you with relaxing contracte muscles, improvong blood and lymphatic circulation, as well as increasing mobility and aiding in recovery.

The class is suitable for everyone and those who are looking for tight and sore muscle recovery.

Yoga Stretches for Runners

A class designed to enhance your running performance and prevent injuries by incorporating yoga into your training routine. Whether you are a seasoned runner or just starting out, this class is perfect for anyone looking to improve their overall running experience. In this class, you will learn a series of yoga poses that specifically target the muscles and joints used in running, helping to increase flexibility, balance, and strength.

The class is suituable for anyone looking to incorporate yoga into their training routine.

Yoga Basic & Alignment

The Yoga Basic & Alignment class is designed to provide a solid foundation for your yoga practice. The class will begin with gentle movements and basic postures to warm up your body, followed by detailed alignment instructions to help you perform more challenging postures with ease.

The class is suitable for all levels of practitioners, including those who are new to yoga.

Join Our Classes

 We offer a variety of yoga classes, from stretching to strengthening, from mat to aerial, all in small group class settings in order to provide the best guidance of yoga practice to each of our students. The yoga classes are taught in both Cantonese and/or English, depending on the class teacher.
